Happy New Year!

Lietať, čítať myšlienky a vedieť si pokecať so zvieratami. Moje trio tvoriace odpoveď na otázku, aké tri superschopnosti by som chcela mať. (Super, že na túto otázku viem sypať odpoveď z rukáva, no netuším, čo odpovedať trebárs na to, keď sa ma ktosi opýta, kde sa vidím za tri roky.) Napriek tomu, že intenzívne pracujem aspoň na poslednej superschopnosti, stále nie a nie porozumieť pražským veveričkám, holubom či psíkom v električkách. Môžem však zvieratkami tlmočiť niečo ja. Vinš. Taký novoročný.

Flying, being able to read people's minds and the ability to understand and to chat with animals. My answer to the question, what superpowers I would like to have. (When I think about it, it's truly great that I can shoot these answers right away at someone who asks me randomly about superpowers. Still I am not able to make up a reasonable answer to questions like - where I see myself in three years or what my plans for - well, actually anything - are... Great. Just great.) Despite the fact that I am working hard on the last of the superpowers, I'm still not able to understand the squirrels, pigeons or the dogs in the trams. But I think I can express something with a little help from my mostly four-legged friends. A New Year´s wish. My wish.

Nech je nový rok plný inšpirácie, dobrých myšlienok a príležitostí na rozjímanie.
May the new year be full of inspiration, good thoughts and chances to contemplate. 

Nech prinesie veľa šancí rásť a zažiariť.
May you have many chances to rise and shine.

A keby niečo, majte vždy naporúdzi miesto alebo náruč, kam sa schovať v prípade chvíľkovej nefunkčnosti sveta.
And may you have your own place or arms to hide when things go wrong or life is too tough.

Nech vám skrížia cesty ľudia, ktorí stoja za to. (Pošťastí sa to občas, ale potom... potom to stojí za to!) A nech sú vaše priateľstvá pevné a trvácne napriek diaľniciam a dlhým vzdušným čiaram, ktoré vás od blízkych delia.
May your friendships be strong and lasting despite the kilometers and rivers and mountains separating you from the people you love. And may you have opportunities to meet new people who will be sent by the universe itself to make your life more awesome. (This doesn't happen too often, but when it does... Oh, man!)

Nech je vaša rodina zdravá a spokojná. Majte veľa možností sa smiať, rozprávať a objímať s vašimi milovanými. Alebo len tak s nimi byť a užívať si blízkosť.
May your family be healthy and content. I wish you many opportunities to laugh and talk with the people you love, to hug them, to simply be with them and to enjoy the moments of closeness.

Nezabúdajte, že kvalitný a dobrý spánok je základ!
Don't forget that a good night's sleep is the key to a good day. (And in case the day doesn't turn out to be good, at least you won't look like a tired zombie.)
