You can shop for products made by local designers there, you can dance, you can eat, you can go see a movie or participate in pot-plant or clothes swaps.
And there's chai, too!
ALBA
The Foam: A very nice layer of foam, this time with a cute swan on top. Tasty, foamy and somehow with a very soft and smooth texture. 7.5/10
The Chai: Served in a nice cup customized by the signature of members of the staff, taste-wise this was one of my favorite chais, really tasty and with the perfect amount of spices (it's really a pity that it wasn't warmer because it could have been a 9!). 8/10
The Overall Experience: For our 13th chai (13th already!) we went to Vnitroblock which, I guess, needs no introduction. :D In the heart of Holešovice, I always enjoy an evening in this big open-space bar/store, with its industrial vibe and nice decoration. Because I am sure nobody will be able to go there just for the chai, go for the rosé after it, totally recommendable! And if you are feeling hungry, the chili and lime mayo that comes with the French fries is absolutely delicious!
Let's put together Vnitroblock, a good chai, some wine afterwards and the best company and by the end of your evening you'll find yourself wondering where did the time go. :) 10/10
MARGITA
The Foam: A gentle foam-swan was swimming on the top of this chai. The taste of this foam was subtle and it was indeed classic, standard micro foam. 7/10
The Chai: I was looking forward to try the chai in Vnitroblock with Alba. I had tried it quite some time ago and had really liked it. Of course I properly detached before our testing, but I couldn't help myself and expected something superb to be put in front of us. The chai we had was not too special though and I hope I hid my broken heart from Alba properly and she didn't notice my disappointment.
Imagine sitting in this extraordinary place, surrounded by cool people and sipping on a completely average beverage. The chai was not spicy and had no distinctive taste. They serve their hot drinks in customized mugs which I believe are designed by the employees (a.k.a. the scribbles are done by the staff of Vnitroblock) and each mug or cup has its own layout of the This is my signature motto on it. The chai was good, but didn't blow my mind (or taste buds). 7.5/10
The Overall Experience: Vnitroblock is a very busy place and I haven't seen it empty at any time of the day so far. Stylish people contrasting and yet matching the vintage furniture, surrounded by designer products and art by local artists. And sneakers. Many, many sneakers. This and much more is what you can expect apart from nice drinks and music of different genres. The furniture is almost too vintage, one wheel of an armchair we were sitting on just rolled off. As I was not the one sitting on that armchair, it was quite funny.
The vibe of the place is unique and Vnitroblock is truly an epicenter of Holešovice where various ingredients are being mixed together and somehow it never feels like it's already too much.
The staff is very kind and attentive. You get free water to your drink and even this is being regularly refilled by the lovely waiters. In case you don't feel like drinking chai, try the rosé wine, which is my second favorite rosé of Prague (number one is the one served in Vinice sv. Kláry in the Botanical Garden of Prague).
Vnitroblock is definitely a place to sit down and get absorbed in its vibrant atmosphere! 9/10
Price of the chai: 70 CZK / 2.75 EUR
